120 g semisweet chocolate
220 g butter or margarine
220 g of sugar
70 g of wheat flour
½ cup of walnuts
chocolate powder or chocolate to sprinkle the mold
and to accompany, whatever you want, vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, jam…
Method of preparation
First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Then mix the sifted flour, sugar and eggs in a bowl.
Melt the semisweet chocolate with the butter in the microwave and then add to the mixture in the bowl.
Chop the walnuts and then add to the brownie batter, mixing well to incorporate. These nuts will add crunch to your cake, but it's optional and you can also substitute any other dried fruit.
Then pour the brownie dough in a greased shape with butter or margarine and sprinkled with chocolate or chocolate powder.
Place the pan in the oven and reduce the temperature to 180 degrees Celsius and then bake for approximately 20 minutes.
Remove from oven when brownie is ready and unmold when cool.
Serve the chocolate walnut brownie cut into square or triangular portions.
You can prepare a chocolate ganache by melting some semisweet chocolate with heavy cream in the microwave.
