Method of preparation
First, preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Then mix the flour and salt in a bowl and set aside.
In a food processor, beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Add the eggs one by one and then stir until creamy.
Add the dry ingredients and the chopped chocolate until incorporated and obtaining a malleable mass.
Then shape the dough into a roll with a diameter of 4-5 cm and cover with plastic wrap. Now let it rest in the freezer for 2 hours or in the fridge for 4 hours.
Cut the dough into slices approximately 2-3 cm thick with a knife and place on the reserved baking sheet.
Finally, bake the chocolate chip cookies in a hot oven for about 12 minutes.
Now the recipe secret
Be sure to beat the butter with the white sugar and brown sugar very well. What is brown sugar? A cane sugar that has not been purified or refined. It has such a wonderful caramel flavor that it gives your cookies a particularly delicious touch. What is special, however, is its consistency. Brown sugar is slightly moist and not as fine as caster sugar. It will give your cookies a wonderfully soft texture so they still taste wonderfully fresh even after several weeks.
